Actress Neha Dhupia, the Saturday, went to run after almost three months, following the relaxation of the government of Maharashtra lockout restrictions that came into effect on June 3. Neha shared a bunch of facial mask selfies from different places along the route she took and shared her experience of seeing a changed Mumbai. In her post, the actress wrote about feeling a sense of “freedom” and also of “fear”. “I left for a race this morning after about 80 days. It was a mixture of emotions between freedom and fear … freedom because I was outside and I breathed fresh air and that too of a quality that I had never done in my city before, freedom because I could feel the little drizzle on my shoulders while my favorite music was playing in my ears, freedom because my feet were ready for me take them on any route near me until they get tired and free in a strange way because I had a mask and kept a safe distance from everyone, “read an excerpt from Neha’s post.
Speaking of “fear”, the 39-year-old actress added: “I felt free splashing in the puddles and it made me smile. I was afraid because people were out and still weren’t wearing masks, remember some from a distance though, feel the fear too because the spirit of Mumbai was missing.
