Increasing the number of examination centers, a different seating plan, fewer candidates per room and phased entry and exit are some of the steps the National Testing Agency will take to safely conduct entrance exams. in medicine and engineering – NEET and JEE – in September.

“We find that there is absolutely no justification in the prayer for the postponement of the examination in question concerning NEET as well as JEE-Mains,” the Supreme Court said.
The NTA has also written to state governments to extend their support for the local movement of candidates so that they can reach their exam centers on time.
9.53 lakh applicants registered with JEE-Mains and 15.97 lakh students registered with NEET.
