Bombay:
Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Chairman Sharad Pawar called Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai on Friday, sources said.
The meeting, which lasted about an hour, took place at the official bungalow of the chief minister “Varsha” in south Mumbai, they said.
The meeting came days after Sharad Pawar said he would discuss with the chief minister issues of the onion price spike and the Centre’s flood relief program.
It comes a day after the Maharashtra Cabinet discussed the proposal to recommend to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari the names of 12 candidates for their appointment to the State Legislative Council from his quota.
