The government is studying the possibility of holding the monsoon session of Parliament from the last week of August or the first week of September with the physical presence of deputies during the works, sources said today.
However, sources told the press agency Press Trust of India that following the increase in coronavirus cases, nothing has yet been finalized and it will be difficult to specify how the session will be held while respecting the standards of social distancing.
Government sources told the PTI news agency that the length of the session and how it will be held will depend on the situation prevailing at the start of the session, although the intention is to hold a separate session. whole.

The monsoon session of Parliament will certainly begin before September 22, as there can be no more than six months between the two sessions, said a senior government official.
