Prime Minister Modi joined the microblogging site in 2009 while he was chief minister of Gujarat. Thanks to its Twitter account, PM Modi connects with its followers and provides updates.

The Prime Minister in March on this year’s Women’s Day gave social media accounts to women whose lives and jobs inspire people to help them ignite their motivation by the millions.

The Prime Minister has more than 45.4 million followers on Instagram while 45 million likes on his official Facebook page.
