A case has been filed after a man raped a seven-year-old girl near the Sukhdev Nagar neighborhood in Ranchi, police said on Saturday.
The Ranchi Saurabh Police Superintendent said the police registered the case under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act.
He said the accused was missing and raids were underway to stop him.
