Maharashtra’s Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde became a graduate with 77.25% marks in the Arts stream, his son of Lok Sabha MP Shrikant announced on Tuesday.
Shrikant said the Thane district guardian minister and leader of Shiv Sena, who dropped out at a young age to support his family, graduated from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University.
“State Minister of Urban Development and Minister of Guardians of Thane District @mieknathshinde saheb today received an arts degree with 77.25% marks from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University,” said tweeted the MP for Kalyan in Marathi.
He said his father’s result showed that one could be successful in life if he worked with persistence.
