Meghalaya earthquake strikes near Nongpoh today
Nongpoh:
A magnitude 4.4 earthquake was reported Tuesday morning near Nongpoh in Meghalaya, according to India’s National Seismology Center.
The epicenter of the quake was 71 km west-southwest (WSW) of Nongpoh, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 1:13 a.m. at a depth of 10 km from the surface.
