Jammu:

Jammu and Kashmir BJP chairman Ravinder Raina said on Saturday that Kashmir-based politicians “dream” for the restoration of Article 370 and Article 35A of the Constitution, which is “almost impossible “.

He claimed that the controversial articles were like a “wall of hate” that did nothing other than “create an ocean of misunderstandings” and stunt the growth and development of the old state.

The J&K BJP leader made the remarks after various political parties in Kashmir unanimously decided on Saturday to fight for the restoration of the special status of the former state as it existed before August 5, 2019, and has declared that the measures taken were “visually impaired” and “manifestly unconstitutional”.

Reacting to this statement, Mr Raina said that “the reinstatement of Articles 370 and 35 (a) is almost impossible. Because of these articles, J&K has suffered for decades and they have given rise to terrorism, separatism and ignited Pakistani agenda, such, they will not be restored at all costs ”.

“The Kashmir-based leaders are doing nothing but daydreaming as they feel anxious to return to the halls of power to enjoy all the luxuries for themselves and their near and dear ones,” Mr. Raina said. , addressing party workers from Sialsui village to Kalakote in Rajouri. district.

He alleged that due to the pre-370 arrangements more than one lakh lost his life at J&K because these “pseudo-rulers were carrying out their duties with Pakistan’s hidden agenda”.

“After the repeal of these articles, communities such as the refugees from West Pakistan, Gorkha Samaaj, Valmiki Samaj, the soil girls, the Gujjar-Bakarwals and many other communities enjoyed the air of freedom because they were discriminated against. on every issue before, “the head of the BJP alleged.

Mr. Raina said the people of J&K have rejected the “dirty politics” of parties like the National Conference, Congress, PDP and People’s Conference and that the J&K is now moving along the final lines of unprecedented development.
