Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has said that if elected to office he will put in place a COVID-19 action plan on the first day of his presidency.
The former vice president, in a poll in Philadelphia on Sunday, criticized the Trump administration’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic which has so far killed more than 230,000 people and infected 9.2 million others in the United States, saying, “imagine where we would be if we had a president who wore a mask instead of laughing at it?
“I can tell you this: We wouldn’t have 9 million confirmed cases of COVID in this country. We wouldn’t have more than 2.30,000 deaths, almost 9,000 here in Pennsylvania.”
The 77-year-old Democratic leader urged people to vote against President Donald Trump, saying it was time for Trump to pack his bags and go home.
“We’re done with the chaos. The tweets. The anger. Hate. Failure. Irresponsibility. We have a lot of work to do,” Biden said, adding that the first step to beating the coronavirus is to beat Trump.
“On the first day of my presidency, we will put into action the plan I have been talking about for months: Masking. Social distancing. Test. Tracing. A plan for the full, fair and free distribution of therapeutics and vaccine when we have them. “
“We wouldn’t see this new record number of cases that we see every day right now. Almost 100,000 cases across the country just as of Friday. More than 2,600 of them are Pennsylvanians. It was a record high. absolute, ”Biden said.
He said he and former President Barack Obama created more jobs in the last three years of their government than Trump did in the first three years of his, before the pandemic.

Delivering an identical speech at another election event in Pennsylvania, Biden said there was no limit to America’s future.
“The only thing that can tear America apart is America itself. And that’s exactly what Donald Trump has been doing since the start of his campaign. Divide America. Pitting Americans against each other based on race, gender, ethnicity and national origin. This is wrong. This is not who we are.

At another event, Biden said if Americans vote Trump doesn’t stand a chance.
“They have had enough. There is too much at stake to stay on the sidelines. In two days we can end a presidency that has failed to protect this nation,” Biden added.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Tracker, the coronavirus has so far infected more than 46 million people and killed more than 1.2 million people worldwide. The United States is the most affected country with more than 9.2 million cases and 230,000 deaths.
