US President Donald Trump criticized his Democratic rival Joe Biden on Thursday (local time) saying he had no plan to handle the coronavirus situation and criticized the former vice president for the way he handled the H1N1 swine flu epidemic under the Obama administration.
“Joe Biden has no plan for the coronavirus – ALL TALK! He was a disaster in his handling of the H1N1 swine flu. He had no idea, as his own chief of staff put it. ‘he was in charge, maybe 2.2 million people would have died from this much more deadly disease! ”Trump tweeted.
Former Vice President Biden has repeatedly criticized the US president for handling the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the first presidential debate, Biden criticized Trump’s response to the coronavirus pandemic, saying the president had no plan and had played down the crisis.
According to Johns Hopkins University, the United States’ current COVID-19 tally stands at 75.78.203 cases.
