After Kaun Banega Crorepati 12, Indian Idol will also have online auditions for its 12th season due to the current coronavirus crisis. The reality show will begin online auditions from July 25. Announcing the news on its official Twitter account, Sony TV shared the promotional video for Indian idol 12, with singer Aditya Narayan, Saturday. The singer, who will host the music show, shot the promo in accordance with social distancing guidelines, the PTI news agency reported. Speaking of the promo recording, Aditya Narayan, who also hosted the eleventh season, said in a statement: “The promo recording was really fantastic. I felt so privileged that I would sing for the show. India’s most famous reality show. I love the public reaction to the promo, “reported PTI.

The online audition process is also quite simple. Participants will need to record videos of themselves singing and upload them to the Sony LIV app. On the basis of their selection, participants will be summoned to Mumbai for the main auditions.

Indian idol 12 will be judged by singer Neha Kakkar, music composers Himesh Reshammiya and Vishal Dadlani. The trio also judged last season. Indian idol 12 is expected to be released later this year.
