Chennai:
A group of Indian fishermen were reportedly attacked by members of the Sri Lankan Navy for allegedly entering the island nation’s territorial waters.
One of the fishermen was injured.
The fishermen denied having entered Lankan waters. Stones were reportedly thrown and their nets torn.
Authorities said there was no official complaint yet and that they were investigating the incident.
