“Ganapati Bappa Morya” – to you sons of Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza, Riaan, 5, and Rahyl, 4. On Ganesh Chaturthi every year, Riteish Deshmukh shares his unique ideas behind creating eco-friendly idols of Ganesha every year and this year too the fans were treated to a video. On Ganesh Chaturthi this year, the work was taken over by Riaan and Rahyl, who created an ecological idol of Ganesha from scratch with the help of their father. Sharing the adorable video, Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi – I wish you and all your family happiness and prosperity. Riaan and Rahyl’s eco-friendly Ganesha.”
The video begins with Riaan and Rahyl playfully making paper balls from old newspapers. Then, with their father’s help, Riaan and Rahyl fashioned the paper balls into a Ganesha-like structure. Then the idol was refined with shaping and structuring. The last phase was the coloring session, during which Riaan and Rahyl had a lot of fun – the video reveals. The little artists have not missed a single place and voila. Ganpati was ready.
