Pakistani bunker explodes after being hit by anti-tank guided missile fired by Indian army

New Delhi:

Two fortified bunkers are seen atop a ridge on the Pakistan-occupied side across the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. Seconds later, a cloud of smoke engulfs the enemy structure as it crumbles – the Indian Army artillery team has just scored a direct hit with a bullet fired at long range. Soon more shells exploded on the hillside.

All of this was seen in videos posted by military sources.

In several videos shared by them, several Pakistani ammunition and fuel storage buildings are also seen burning after direct hits from Indian artillery fire, anti-tank guided missiles and rockets. Even more visuals show orange flames firing from one of the structures as the fire escalates and “bakes” the ammunition in stock.

In another video, a Pakistani soldier sprints for safety as an anti-tank guided missile fired by the Indian army flies towards a bunker. He scores a direct hit. Within seconds, two more missiles fired by the Indian army hit the same bunker.

The Pakistani army has started targeting Indian positions along the LoC in several areas, including Dawar, Keran, Uri and Naugam, using mortars and other heavy weapons. They focused their fire on civilian areas, military sources said. Four soldiers were killed in action and three were wounded. Three civilians also lost their lives.

Indian artillery quickly opened in retaliation and destroyed Pakistani military structures.

“Our troops retaliated strongly, causing significant damage to Pakistani army infrastructure and casualties across the LoC. Several ammunition dumps and terrorist launch pads were damaged,” an army source said. .

The Pakistani fire came as terrorists attempted to enter India from the Keran sector. The infiltration attempt was stopped by Indian troops in outposts, military sources said.

Seven Pakistani soldiers were killed and 12 were wounded in the retaliatory artillery barrage in India, military sources said.

It was the second infiltration attempt in a week. The previous infiltration attempt in the Machhal sector on November 7 and 8 was also stopped and three terrorists were shot dead.
