Trump cut his campaign manager on Wednesday.

Washington:

US President Donald Trump dismantled his campaign manager on Wednesday to shake up his vacillating re-election attempt, with polls showing his popularity dropping four months before the November vote.

“I am pleased to announce that Bill Stepien has been promoted to the position of Trump campaign manager,” the president wrote on Twitter, promoting his former deputy campaign manager.

Trump has said that the demoted Brad Parscale will return to his former role at the helm of the campaign’s “formidable digital and data strategies”.
