The close collaborators of Shivraj Singh Chouhan were left aside during the distribution of the posts of the ministry.

Bhopal:

The leaders of the BJP in Madhya Pradesh, already upset by the posts of the ministry, openly express their dissatisfaction with the late allocation of the portfolio in the government. Today, the former minister of Ajay Vishnoi and chief legislator of the Patan BJP – a seat in the Jabalpur district – tweeted a warning. The tweet sparked political controversy in the state amid growing awareness among the ranks that Prime Minister Shivraj Singh’s firm grip on the party and the government is slipping.

Questioned today by journalists on the delay in the allocation of portfolio today, the chief minister declared: “All the departments report to the CM and since I am the CM, I am also minister of all the departments. The government is functioning properly. The cabinet meeting is scheduled for Thursday, everything will be settled by then. “

But Mr. Vishnoi made it clear that the delay was unsuitable for party leaders.

“First, it was the number of ministers and now the distribution of portfolios. I fear that if the BJP workers get angry at such an insult to our leaders. It would be a big loss,” said the tweet. of the quadruple deputy.

Mr. Vishnoi – who was also among the leaders for ministerial posts – wrote to the chief minister after not being included in the second cabinet enlargement on July 2, asking him to retain responsibility for the districts of Jabalpur and Rewa with him.

The two districts have no representation on the Council of Ministers.

Congressman Rajya Sabha, Vivek Tankha, who also belongs to Jabalpur, responded to Mr. Vishnoi’s tweet.

“First, Congress had to suffer the damage, now it is certainly the turn of the BJP. You are absolutely right Ajay Bhai,” tweeted Mr. Tankha.

Among the leaders of the ruling party, the tweet is interpreted as a deliberate attempt to emphasize that the chief minister was not allowed to choose his colleagues in the ministry.

The central leadership of the BJP appears to be on the side of Jyotiraditya Scindia, whose defection from Congress with 22 deputies led to the collapse of the Kamal Nath government and helped the party take power in the state.

Of the 22 congressmen who joined the BJP, 14 were appointed ministers. Of these, 10 are ministers and four are ministers of state. The BJP has 20 ministers.

During his meeting with the leaders of the Center in Delhi at the beginning of the month, the Prime Minister was considered as having not expressed his point of view. His suggestions for ministry have been heavily edited, with close associates like Rampal Singh, Rajendra Shukla, Paras Jain, Gauri Shankar Bisen being left out.

During the first expansion of his cabinet, his critic-architect Kamal Patel was inducted as Cabinet Minister and received the Ministry of Agriculture, in what party insiders now regard as a sign of his relaxation. the influence.
