Former beauty queen Sushmita Sen recently featured her return role as titular character in Disney + Hotstar’s upcoming web-series Aarya with a punchy trailer on Thursday. At a virtual press conference with the PTI news agency, the 44-year-old actress revealed that after taking a break, she announced that she was finally ready to return but that she had a condition: “I put a word wherever I am ready to work and I will give everything. But I need something that will help me grow as an actor. If you give me that, I will get out of my way. I want to do a good job, “said PTI. Sushmita said. Aarya is a criminal thriller, in which Sushmita plays the role of a woman, who finds herself involved in a racket of illegal drugs after an assassination attempt against her husband.
Sushmita Sen was crowned Miss Universe in 1994, two years later, she entered Bollywood with a 1996 film Dastak. Sushmita, best known for movies such as Biwi No 1, Aankhen, Main Hoon Na, Vaastu Shastra, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, was last seen in the Bengali film Nirbaak. Explaining his reason behind a break from the movies, Sushmita told PTI: “For me, it was very simple, I started getting the kind of work I was doing just for the sake of staying in the business of make movies. I think it’s a criminal waste of your life, so I chose the opposite and I did better with my time. Now I said I could do it. ” said Sushmita. Sushmita has two daughters Renee and Alisah, which often appears on his Instagram. Sushmita often tends to display her favorite items with her boyfriend Rohman Shawl.
