Chinese Huawei Technologies has asked to meet with Prime Minister Boris Johnson to find an agreement to delay its potential withdrawal from the country’s 5G telephone network, the Sunday Times reported on Sunday.

Johnson has come under intense pressure from the United States and some British legislators to ban the manufacturer of telecommunications equipment for security reasons.
