Actress Shilpa Shetty, speaking to Shibani Dandekar on an episode of The Love Laugh Live Show, made some ROFL revelations about the time when Raj Kundra had proposed to him in Paris. Recalling the special moment of 12 years ago, Shilpa told Shibani that Raj Kundra had made “exaggerated” arrangements for the special day, but as far as the ring is concerned, it was not at all what Shilpa had expected. “It was a five karat diamond ring and I could look really materialistic, but I was like, ‘It’s just five karats.’ It took me a while to say yes because I said to myself: “This is not what I imagined”. Laughing, Shilpa added, “No, no, just kidding.”
Shilpa said Raj Kundra took a hint at his reaction and promised him a ‘bigger’ ring for when they got married: “Because I took two more seconds, he said, ‘The wedding ring will be bigger. It’s Raj for you. I said yes here and there. He knew that I always wanted to go to the Eiffel Tower. I shot in Paris, I shot under the Eiffel Tower, but I had decided that I was going to go up only with the man I find myself with, ”said Shilpa Shetty.
In the video, Shilpa also shared that Raj Kundra had planned the surprise with the help of his parents and sister Shamita: “I was in Paris for the Karl Lagerfeld show. He said you know, “We’re having lunch at a friend, so dress well. “And my sister told me to wear red so that was already planned.
