While sharing the photos, Manisha also shared the philosophy behind the practice of yoga with a quote attributed to the late yoga practitioner BKS Iyengar, who was one of the world‘s most famous yoga teachers: “Yoga doesn’t change just the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees. ” Manisha Koirala was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2012, a few years later, she spoke about her ordeal with the disease and wrote about her emergence as a survivor in the book Cured: How cancer gave me new life, which was released in 2018.
