Hindustan Copper Limited has invited candidates for vocational training. Apprenticeship training will take place at the Khetri Copper Complex. A total of 290 positions will be filled in various trades such as fitter, turner, diesel mechanic, electrician, computer operator and programming assistant, among others. For all positions except Mate (mines) and Blaster (mines), candidates for grade 10 can apply. For other positions, ITI qualification is also compulsory.

“Applicants who have successfully completed the ITI before the year 2017 will have to produce an affidavit on sworn non-judicial stamp paper before a magistrate or a notary public to the effect that they have neither followed any training in apprenticeship anywhere earlier nor taken a job anywhere, “said the recruiting agency.
“Applicants with higher professional qualifications such as Diploma / BE or equivalent will not be considered. In addition, applicants with higher academic qualification such as BA / B.Sc. / B.Com, etc. will not receive any weighting extra, “he added.
The age of the candidates must be between 18 and 30 years.
Applicants will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained in ITI and in class 10. A weighting of 30% to the marks scored in the trade concerned in ITI and a weighting of 70% will be granted to the marks marked in class 10 examination.
The last date for submitting applications is July 25. The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on August 10.
