JD (S) leader HD Kumaraswamy launched a scathing attack on the former congressional ally on Thursday, saying it was not a party worthy of an alliance and that it did not honor the coalition. dharma.

The Election Commission on Tuesday announced the schedule for by-elections in Sira in Tumakuru district and Rajarajeshwari Nagar (RR Nagar) in the city.
The bypasses were made necessary in Sira after the death of JD (S) MP B Sathyanarayana last month, while RR Nagar’s seat became vacant following the disqualification of Congress MP N Munirathna under the anti -defection last year.
Congress has finalized former minister TB Jayachandra as Sira’s candidate, but has yet to find a candidate for RR Nagar.
