New Delhi:
Haryana Congress leader Kuldeep Bishnoi said today that there was a sense of desperation among party workers over the treatment of young leaders like Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sachin Pilot, and also urged the leaders to promote the mass leaders in each state in the fight against the BJP.
Taking the old guard, he called on the leadership of Congress to give other responsibilities to those who have held high positions for 35 years and have never contested the elections.
Mr Bishnoi, who is the son of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, sparked speculation by posting a photo of himself with Mr Scindia and Mr Pilot on Twitter.
“Many congratulations @JM_Scindia. A well deserved one,” he said with the photo, one day when Jyotiraditya Scindia was sworn in as a member of Rajya Sabha of the BJP.
He also praised former Congress leader Priyanka Chaturvedi, who was also sworn in as a member of Rajya Sabha’s Shiv Sena on Wednesday. “Sincere congratulations @ priyankac19 on your hard earned success. Best wishes for a bright future.”

As Jyotiraditya Scindia left Congress, Sachin Pilot held up a banner of revolt against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in Rajasthan and is on the verge of resigning, even though he has said he is not joining the BJP.
“Jyotiraditya Scindia and Sachin Pilot are very good friends and their departure from the party hurts Congress a lot. The treatment inflicted on them by the party, there is a feeling of hopelessness among the party workers. I am a member of Congress by birth and will never leave her, ”Mr. Bishnoi later said in a video posted to Twitter.

“I want to tell the high command to move the mass leaders forward because they are the ones who can fight against the BJP. These people who have held high positions for 30 to 35 years, who have never fought the elections, should see themselves grant other responsibilities as we move towards a great war, ”he said, while glancing at the old guard in Congress.
His remarks highlighted the divide between old and young in Congress.
Mr. Bishnoi has been unhappy for some time. Previously he formed his own Haryana Janhit party and was part of the NDA, but later left them and is now in Congress. He has been a two-time MP for Hisar and Bhiwani and is currently an MP representing Adampur constituency in Haryana.
