New Delhi:
Air India said Friday that its financial situation is very difficult and is using several initiatives to ensure the continuation of its operations.
Air India introduced the Leave Without Pay (LWP) program on July 14, 2020. The program primarily allows employees to take advantage of the benefits of the unpaid leave procedure on a voluntary basis.
“The LWP program was introduced to grant unpaid leave and allowances for permanent employees for a period of six months / two years, which can be extended up to 5 years,” said Air India.
