Eid marks the end of Ramzan’s fasting month.

New Delhi:

Eid will be celebrated in the country on Monday, May 25, as the moon could not be seen on Saturday, Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Ahmed Shah Bukhari in Delhi told PTI news agency.

In the midst of the COVID-19 epidemic and the ensuing foreclosure, Imam Shahi also called on people to offer Eid namaz at home.

It may be the first time that there will be no mass namaz in mosques and idgahs across the country as the government has banned all kinds of religious gatherings to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Eid marks the end of Ramzan’s fasting month.
