A magnitude 2.1 earthquake was reported on Saturday afternoon near Faridabad in Haryana, according to India’s National Seismology Center.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 28 km southwest (SSW) of Faridabad, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 4:48 p.m. IST at a depth of 5 km from the surface.
