Earthquake today in Gujarat: 4.2 earthquakes strike near Surat

A magnitude 4.2 earthquake was reported on Saturday afternoon near Surat in Gujarat, according to the Indian National Seismological Center.
The epicenter of the earthquake was 53 km northeast (NE) of Surat, Gujarat, India, the agency said. The earthquake struck at 3:39 p.m. IST at a depth of 10 km from the surface.
