It is important to reserve the use of the steroid dexamethasone for the treatment only of severe cases of COVID-19, for which it has been shown to have an advantage, said on Wednesday the head of the emergency program of the Organization world health.
“It is extremely important in these cases that the drug is reserved for critically ill and critically ill patients who can clearly benefit from it,” said Mike Ryan during a briefing.
