Washington:
US President Donald Trump repeated his allegations of electoral fraud on Sunday, claiming without evidence that the voting machines were “corrupt” and calling them a “stolen election.”
Trump has repeatedly tried to question the validity of the vote count in major transitional states and has baselessly claimed that the election was “stolen” from him.
“We think these people are thieves. The machines in big cities are corrupt. It was a stolen election. Britain’s top pollster wrote this morning that it was clearly a stolen election, that ‘It’s impossible to imagine that Biden has overtaken Obama in some of these states, ”Trump said in a series of tweets Sunday morning.
A day earlier, the mainstream media projected his Democratic challenger Joe Biden as the winner of the November 3 presidential election.
States have yet to certify votes. In the US presidential electoral system, it is the media that traditionally invite the election, which is followed by an official official announcement of the results. The media appeal is based on voting trends and past history.
Unlike in the past, Trump has yet to concede the election, saying the official vote count has yet to be announced.
The Trump campaign, which has filed a number of lawsuits and plans to slap many more across the country, alleges voter fraud and bad election practices.
“Where it mattered, they stole what they had to steal,” Trump said in another tweet.
All of his tweets were posted to Twitter on Sunday, noting that they were allegations disputed by the president. For the first time in Twitter history, the social media giant has flagged and censored so many tweets from the head of state.
“We should be looking at the votes. We are just beginning the tabulation phase. We should be looking at these allegations. We are seeing a number of affidavits indicating that there was voter fraud. We have a history in this country of trouble. election, “Trump alleged.
“In Pennsylvania, a Supreme Court judge ordered them to separate the ballots received after the legislative deadline. This required the intervention of Justice Alito. This is a large group of ballots,” did he declare.
“When you talk about systemic issues, it’s about … how those ballots were authenticated, because if there was a problem in the system regarding authentication, it would seriously affect THE WHOLE ELECTION – and what worries me is we’ve had over a hundred million mail – ballot in cities like Philadelphia and Detroit with a long string of electoral issues (to say the least), ”Trump said.
Trump walked down from the White House to his golf course in a Virginia suburb to play golf, before sending out the tweets.
His campaign has now established an “Election Defense Fund” to raise funds to wage the costly legal battle in US courts that could result in the US Supreme Court.
“Only you can save America from the radical left. Don’t let your country down,” Trump said in one of his mass fundraising emails.
“The Democrats have made it clear that they would rather destroy our nation than have four more years of incredible leadership from our president,” Vice President Mike Pence said in another email.
Trump claimed on Saturday without evidence that “bad things happened” inside the counting rooms and tens of thousands of votes were illegally received in the key battlefield state of Pennsylvania.
At a White House press conference on Friday, Trump accused Democrats of massive electoral fraud and alleged the election was stolen. He presented no evidence to support his claim.
The Biden campaign has denied the allegations.
