The battle in Madhya Pradesh’s farewell assembly elections is not about power but about respect for the Gwalior-Chambal region, BJP chief Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Saturday.
Mr Scindia said in a tweet that self-respecting locals are now demanding responses from the Congressional government against “injustice, atrocities and breaking promises” made to them 15 months after his move. reign.
“When patience turns to rebellion, it demands a response to every injustice. If it’s water (in the veins) then it’s fine, but if it’s blood, it will demand answers, it will demand accountability, ”he said in a Tweet in Hindi.
“The battle during the partial elections is not about power but about respect for the region of Gwalior Chambal,” he added.
Voting for 28 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh will take place on November 3 and the results will be announced on November 10.
By-elections are scheduled for 28 seats following the resignation of 25 MPs and the death of three lawmakers earlier.
In March this year, 22 congressmen resigned from the State Assembly, paving the way for BJP’s Shivraj Singh Chouhan to take the post of Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh for the fourth time. (ANI)
