Dhanush, who shares the vocals credits for Rowdy baby with Dhee, pointed out that: “What a sweet coincidence. Rowdy baby reached 1 billion views on the same day of the 9th anniversary of Kolaveri Di. 2018 Maari 2 was the second installment in Balaji Mohan’s action-comedy series Maari. Dhanush reprized his role of boring moron in Maari 2 with Tovino Thomas playing the antagonist.
