Chandigarh:
A couple were found gunned down inside their home in Haryana’s Faridabad district, police said today.
The bodies of Sukhbir, 27, and his wife Monica, 26, were found in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds on Tuesday night at their home in Jasana village, they said.
The couple’s hands were tied before they were shot, police said.
The murder came to light when a milkman came to the house and no one came to collect milk. He entered the house and found the bodies, after which the police were notified.
“Some items were found missing in the house. Cupboards were opened and things strewn about. A case has been registered and the motive for the crime is being determined,” said Jasvir Singh, inspector of the Tigaon police station. .
CCTV footage of the locality was collected, police said.
Four suspects were seen leaving the apartment building where the couple lived, they added.
