Nitin Gadkari said that people should overcome fear and not be disappointed with the situation.

The unprecedented situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic should be seen as a disguised blessing, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Saturday.

Addressing the Jan Samwad virtual gathering of BJP workers from Nagpur in Maharashtra, Gadkari said that the challenge posed by COVID-19 was nothing compared to the challenges faced and overcome by India before and after independence.

“It is not only India that is facing the COVID-19 crisis, but the whole world is affected by it, but we must consider it as a blessing in disguise,” said the deputy for Nagpur BJP.

He said that people should overcome fear and not be disappointed with the situation.

“We had faced and fought several challenges before and after independence. Compared to them, this (COVID-19) is not a big challenge. We must remain optimistic and not lose confidence. There should be no possibility of negativity, “he said. .

Gadkari expressed confidence that India will overcome economic challenges and become a superpower.

He said scientists around the world have been trying to develop a coronavirus vaccine and they will be successful soon.

“We must fight COVID-19 by maintaining social distance, by wearing a mask and by disinfecting our hands,” he said. Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant, BJP unit president Sadanand Shet Tanavade delivered their speeches online from the party office in Panaji.
