Manish Sisodia said it is because inclusive politics of Mr. Kejriwal, Delhi receives help from everywhere.

New Delhi:

Delhi government obtains Center cooperation in efforts to fight the coronavirus pandemic, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said in an interview with GalacticGaming. He said the national capital is in need of financial assistance as the sources of income have dried up due to the cessation of commercial activities and he hopes that the central government will provide the required assistance.

“We have obtained the cooperation of the Center. We need financial support. We believe that since the Center is cooperating on other things, we will also obtain support in this area. The companies have not been able to work, so where are we going to get? We will also need tax support, and I hope we will get it, “he said.

On the difference of opinion between the Center and the Delhi government on a multitude of issues, Mr. Sisodia said that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will do whatever is necessary for the people of the nation’s capital.

“Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has worked hard to do the right thing for the people of Delhi. If we are to bow down to the Center, we will be; if we are to oppose their policies, we will be. If necessary, we will comply. We have worked in coordination with everyone – that is why the number (coronavirus) is lower than expected, “he said.

He said it is because of Mr. Kejriwal’s inclusive policy, Delhi is getting help from all sides.

“Today we also have buses (for isolation beds), we have Radha Soami (spiritual center transformed into COVID center); we have received the cooperation of the Center and social service organizations. If we are currently in a stable state, it is because of the chief minister’s inclusive strategy and policy, “he said.

Responding to the charge of Interior Minister Amit Shah that Sisodia’s remark that Delhi had more than 5.5 lakh cases by the end of July sparked fear, he said. said the national capital was better prepared because of the projection, taken from a central government website.

“We had taken this data from the Centre’s website for projections. I don’t think it is wrong … Telling the public where we are now and where we can reach, I think, may be beneficial,” he said. -he declares.

“In this projection, it was said that there will be a lakh case by June 30. It is good that we only have 85,000 cases. It has been said that the active cases would be between 45 and 50,000, we currently have 26,000 of them. He said we would need 15,000 beds – there are currently 6,000 beds in patients and 9,000 beds are vacant. We are in comfort level – if the cases increase, we are ready, “he added.

Sisodia said Delhi hospitals currently have over 200 vacant ventilation beds and the government is trying to increase the number to cope with any eventuality.

With 87,360 cases of coronavirus and 2,742 deaths, Delhi is the third most affected state in the country after Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.
