Sharad Pawar had reprimanded Parth for his comments on the Sushant Singh Rajput case.

Ahmednagar:

Two days after NCP chief Sharad Pawar censored his grandnephew Parth Pawar for calling for a CBI investigation into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Parth Pawar’s cousin Rohit Pawar qualified on Friday the episode of “family question”.

While Parth is the son of Maharashtra Chief Deputy Minister Ajit Pawar, Rohit, MP for Karjat-Jamkhed, is the son of Rajendra Pawar, another nephew of the NCP chairman.

“It’s a family affair. Saheb (Sharad Pawar) commented on it, it’s a family affair,” Rohit Pawar told reporters in Ahmednagar, refusing to say more.

Sharad Pawar had said on Wednesday that he gave no weight to Parth’s request for a CBI investigation.

Rohit Pawar, however, spoke of the “politicization” of Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged suicide in the context of the upcoming elections in Bihar, the actor’s home state.

“Today the news has come that a leader of the BJP in Maharashtra will oversee the BJP’s election preparations in Bihar,” he said, apparently referring to Devendra Fadnavis.

“The BJP raised the issue (Rajput’s death). The issue was politicized from the start and now there is clarity (why it was politicized),” the NCP MP said.
