Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja revealed in a tweet Wednesday afternoon that he and his wife Prerana had tested positive for COVID-19. The 31-year-old actor said he and Prerana had “mild symptoms” of COVID-19. They decided to be admitted to the hospital after their diagnosis and are impatient to improve soon: “My wife and I were both tested positive for COVID-19 with mild symptoms and therefore chose to be hospitalized. I’m sure we’ll be back very well, “read part of Dhruva Sarja’s tweet. He also asked those in the vicinity of the couple to be checked: “All those who were close to us, please get tested and stay safe.”
Dhruva Sarja is the younger brother of actor Kannada Chiranjeevi Sarja, died at the age of 39 last month after cardiac arrest. Dhruva Sarja is the nephew of Kannada veteran star Arjun Sarja. Read Dhruva Sarja’s tweet here:

Dhruva Sarja made his acting debut with a 2012 film Addhuri, for which he won three acting awards. Dhruva Sarja is also known for having acted in Kannada films such as, Bahaddur and Bharjari, which earned him several nominations. He will then be seen in an action thriller titled Pogaru, with Rashmika Mandanna.
Dhruva Sarja married her childhood girlfriend Prerana in a big, fat marriage in November 2019, a year after the marriage of her brother Chiranjeevi Sarja. A few days after Chiranjeevi Sarja’s death in June, his wife Meghana Raj announced her pregnancy in a heartbreaking post.
