Director Kunal Kohli also wrote in a tweet that he recently spoke to Saroj Khan’s son, Raju Khan, and assured fans of the renowned choreographer that she was “better” and “recovering”. Saroj Khan, who won three national awards for best choreography for his work in Devdas, Jab We Met and the 2007 Tamil film Shringaram, is credited with the choreography of more than 2000 songs. She has choreographed some of Bollywood’s most popular pieces such as Ye Ishq Haaye with Kareena Kapoor from the 2007 film Jab We Met, Ek do teen with Madhuri Dixit from Tezaab, Dola Re Dola from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas, with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Shah Rukh Khan.

The last Bollywood song she choreographed was Tabaah Hogaye with Madhuri Dixit for the film by Karan Johar 2019 Kalank.
