Beijing:
China said on Wednesday that it no longer wants to see clashes on the border with India following a clash on Monday that killed at least 20 Indian soldiers, adding that the two countries are trying to resolve the situation by dialogue.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian reiterated that China was not to blame for the shock and said that the overall border situation was stable and controllable.
