Former beauty queen Celina Jaitly, who lost a baby in 2017, shared her heartbreaking experience in a long note on World Prematurity Day. In 2017, Celina Jaitly gave birth to twins Shamsher and Arthur. Born premature, Shamsher succumbed to severe heart disease and Arthur survived after two months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Sharing her pain of dealing with a premature birth herself, Celina wrote: “We went through immense heartbreak with a baby in the NICU and funeral arrangements for her twin who we lost due to ‘a congenital heart problem, but we survived thanks to the hope and incredible care of the nurses at the NICU and the doctors at the NICU in Dubai who worked tirelessly with us to ensure that Arthur Jaitly Haag is coming home with us. “
Addressing parents who might stumble upon a similar experience, Celina Jaitly added a message of hope and encouragement: “While many premature babies are still very vulnerable to medical issues or life-threatening circumstances. in danger, many grow up to be perfectly healthy individuals, with a few public figures even becoming notable such as Winston Churchill and Albert Einstein and of course our own Arthur Jaitly Haag. Celina Jaitly and her husband Peter Haag married in 2011.
