London:
Labor opposition leader Keir Starmer said on Monday that Prime Minister Boris Johnson fell asleep at the wheel during the coronavirus crisis and had been far too slow to make important decisions.
“I think the prime minister fell asleep at the wheel, he was slow, communications, communications were terrible,” Starmer told ITV. “It started to collapse frankly when Dominic Cummings presented a ridiculous defense of what he had done in the northeast.”
“They didn’t do the basic work to test, plot and isolate,” said Starmer.
