A 14-year-old boy from the south of England in Hampshire was charged with plotting a terrorist attack and produced on Thursday outside the Westminster Magistrates Court in London.
The adolescent, who cannot be named because of his age, has been charged with a count of preparing terrorist acts under the relevant section of the United Kingdom’s Terrorism Act 2006 for “having committed acts of terrorism “said the UK Counter-Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE). .
“The boy was originally arrested by Hampshire police on Friday June 12, then arrested under section 41 of the Terrorism Act by CTPSE detectives,” the statement said.
