London:
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who tested positive for Covid-19 this year, wished US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump on Friday a speedy recovery.
“My best wishes to President Trump and the First Lady,” Johnson tweeted, after Trump confirmed they had tested positive for Covid-19 and would be quarantined, a month before the US election.
“I hope they will recover from the coronavirus quickly,” the prime minister said.
My best wishes to President Trump and the First Lady. I hope they both recover quickly from the coronavirus.

Johnson spent three nights in intensive care in April after contracting Covid-19, and since then swirling questions have been raised about the extent of his recovery.
But he said this week that he had lost weight and was now “fitter than a butcher’s dog.”
