The Bombay Flying Club has become the country’s first DGCA-approved drone training school, the Civil Aviation Ministry said on Monday.
“Good news for drone users. Do you want to become a professional drone pilot? If so, enroll in the Bombay Flying Club as Bombay Flying Club becomes the first drone training school in India approved by the DGCA,” said the ministry on Twitter.
In an ordinance dated July 20, the DGCA approved the club’s request “for remote pilot training in remotely piloted aircraft systems”.
