Bombay (Maharashtra):

“A lot of people want to quit the BJP and stop them, says the party that the government (in Maharashtra) is going to collapse, but the government is not going to fall,” Khadse told ANI.

Commenting on his priorities after joining the NCP, Mr. Khadse said: “When we join the party, two things happen – we will strengthen the organization and work with the government for development. Our top priority is that with the government aid, development takes place in our region. “

Former BJP leader Eknath Khadse joined the NCP on Friday in the presence of party leader Sharad Pawar in Mumbai.

Earlier this week, Mr. Khadse announced his intention to join the NCP and claimed to have suffered greatly within the BJP.
