Days after Bhuj: the pride of India was announced as one of the seven major bollywood movies to come premiering on Disney + Hotstar, the film’s first look at actress Sonakshi Sinha has been abandoned. In the first poster, Sonakshi Sinha sports an intense expression as a social worker for Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, a character from real life, whom the actress praised for her “heroic” acts. “Honored to play the heroic role of Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, the brave social worker who accompanied 299 women with her to support the Indian army! Bhuj: the pride of India, a crucial incident in history, will soon be unveiled with Disney + Hotstar, “said Sonakshi in legend of his first look. Sonakshi co-star Ajay Devgn also paid tribute to the actress, sharing the poster of the first look on his Instagram.
Bhuj: the pride of India is based on the Indo-Pak war of 1971 and focuses mainly on the life of IAF squadron chief Vijay Karnik, who was in charge of Bhuj air base during the war. The role of squadron chief Vijay Karnik will be played by Ajay Devgn, whose first look at the film was shared earlier in January.

In a tweet last year, Ajay Devgn wrote to Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik that he had guided 300 women from neighboring villages to reconstruct an Indian Air Force runway runway during the 1971 war so that Air Force officers can land safely.
