New Delhi:
Trust Amitabh Bachchan to always delight his supporters with priceless explosions from the past. Tuesday, Instafam, the 77-year-old actor, woke up with a photo of a return from one of Big B’s trips to Paris with his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda. The photo, dated 1985, shows some scenes from Montmartre to Paris where an artist painted a portrait of Amitabh Bachchan with Jaya, Abhishek and Shweta looking in admiration. However, it is the expression of little Abhishek which deserved a special mention in the post of Big B. “Abhishek thinking that my drawn portrait is all bad”, read the last sentence of the post by Big B. Shweta, who will not leave a single opportunity to laugh at Abhishek on Instagram briefs, tagged his brother and posted this comment: “Hahahaha look at AB’s face.”
The memory of 1985 opened the floodgates of good memories for Amitabh Bachchan, who made a trip in the past and described it thus: “Paris, Montmartre, 1985. The famous bohemian court of a red Mill which starred the incredible actor Jose Ferrer, and later red Mill made by Baz Luhrmann … and of course ‘Calcuttaites’ would linger on the famous night club Moulin Rouge on Park Street, our evening in 1962-1968 … and the group of Louis Banks and singer Pam Crane. Aaahhhh, these are my friend’s days. “
Here’s what Amitabh Bachchan shared as a Tuesday return:
Amitabh Bachchan’s Instagram feed is entirely dedicated to the family and is full of memories. Sunday he shared a adorable photo of himself with Abhishek and his grandson Agastya (Son of Shweta), with this caption: “Father … Son … Grandson … a few years ago. The clasped hands were not planned, it just happened.”
Shweta’s daughter, Navya Naveli, and Abhishek’s daughter, Aaradhya, were also featured in this souvenir back not so long ago on Big B’s timeline in this photo of “Grandchildren … grown-ups -parents”.
Amitabh Bachchan, whose work never stopped even during the lockdown, was recently seen in the film Gulabo Sitabo, which was released on Amazon Prime on June 12. Mr. Bachchan has films such as Brahmastra, Jhund and Chehre in the line-up. Big B will also be back as host for the next season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.
