Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, 77, and his son Abhishek, 44, who are currently in an isolation room at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai because of their diagnosis of COVID-19, they do not need “aggressive treatment,” said a hospital source, the PTI news agency reported. Big B and Abhishek are on “supportive therapy,” the source added. “They are both in the (isolation) room and are clinically stable. At present, they do not require aggressive treatment. They agree to the first line of medication. They are receiving therapy support, “said PTI citing the hospital insider. . “Their vitality and their appetite are going well,” added the source. Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek revealed their diagnosis of coronavirus on Saturday, saying they had “mild symptoms” and asking fans to “keep calm.” A hospital statement on Sunday morning said that Mr. Bachchan and Abhishek were “stable with mild symptoms”.
Abhishek’s wife, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, and their eight-year-old daughter have also tested positive for coronavirus and are isolated at home. Abhishek tweeted on Sunday that they were quarantining themselves at home.
Abhishek also confirmed on Sunday that he and his father will remain in Nanavati hospital until doctors advise otherwise: “My father and I remain in hospital until doctors decide otherwise.

During the lockdown, Amitabh Bachchan frequently blogged about the job for long hours with detailed warnings that appropriate precautionary measures were in place on the sets. Mr. Bachchan was filming for the next season of Kaun Banega Crorepati and also for some videos applauding the COVID-19 warriors.
Meanwhile, the four bungalows of Amitabh Bachchan – Pratiksha, Janak, Vatsa and Jalsa, where the actor currently lives with his family – were sealed off on Sunday by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
