Actor Akshay Kumar said on Monday that his character Laxmmi Bomb as a transgender person is the most “mentally intense” role in his three-decade career and he had to be careful to deliver his performance “without offending any community.” The Horror Comedy is a remake of the 2011 Tamil film Kanchana and is directed by Raghava Lawrence, who also directed the original. During a virtual press conference, the 52-year-old actor declared through his character in the film, that he had discovered a new version of himself.

Disney + Hotstar has announced its list of seven films that will have direct digital release, including Ajay Devgn Bhuj: the pride of India, Abhishek Bachchan The Big Bull, and Sadak 2, with Alia Bhatt.
Vidyut Jammwal’s Khuda Haafiz and Lootcase, with Kunal Kemmu and Rasika Dugal would be the other titles of the platform.
Disney + Hotstar Multiplex’s first film will be Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara, will begin broadcasting from July 24.
