Interior Minister Amit Shah at his first virtual rally on Sunday said the Modi government has resolved long-standing issues in the country, hinting at the removal of section 370, the amended law on citizenship, among other things, carried out during the current second term. .
“Problems that no one has dared to address in 70 years have been resolved in the first year of the Modi government’s second term. Modiji introduced the Citizenship Law. This law granted citizenship and respect to refugees in India, “said Mr. Shah at the Bihar Jansamvad video conference.
The Minister of the Interior further said that India’s defense policy had been widely recognized and accepted.
“India’s defense policy has gained worldwide acceptance. The whole world agrees that after the United States and Israel, if there is another country capable of protecting its borders, it is India” , did he declare.
“There was a time when someone entered our borders, beheaded our soldiers and the Delhi darbar remained unchanged. Uri and Pulwama occurred during our time, it was the Modi government and BJP, we did surgical strikes and air strikes, “he added.
Earlier in the rally, Amit Shah said these virtual rallies were not political in nature but aimed to join the people in the fight against COVID-19.
However, he praised Bihar’s chief minister, Nitish Kumar, and said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will retain power in the state with a two-thirds majority in the next assembly elections.
